So, the 20th of October is usually Viggo Pic Day in here.:) But starting this year, it is also Spirit Day. Therefore, to honor both occasions, I hereby present Viggo in Purple.:D

Also, I have a funny and embarrassing confession to make. I just started Anat Baniel's Healthy Backs introductory exercise program (on DVD), and apparently I didn't get the memo about doing the movements "gently and without forcing" - because I definitely overworked some muscles. Which ones? Well, that's the embarrassing part. Let's just say it feels rather uncomfortable to sit down at the moment.:/ Which really sucks, because I have no choice but to sit down for most of the day. Honestly... who would have thought? Those are the muscles that never really get used much - except perhaps during vigorous sex, which I haven't had since... well, let's not even go there, LOL. Or during bike riding, maybe. Which I haven't done since I was a kid. Anyway... the back & neck do feel better, I think, so the exercises seem to be doing their job. Also, this program is meant to make you more "aware of your body" - so in this sense, I am very aware of some nearly forgotten parts of it right now.:P I just need to figure out how to do this without making myself miserable. I really wasn't trying to push it - but apparently I am so weak that even a series of very small repetitive movements will make me sore.:( Of course, I'd rather feel loosened up and sore than stiff and unable to move freely - so I guess we're making progress here, somehow. I just wish I wasn't such a wimp... *sigh*
Speaking of which... I think I'll go to bed early tonight. I need to put those achy parts in a horizontal position, pronto.:|

I hope you feel better soon! I have been trying to exercise more and it's crazy the parts of your body that end up hurting.
