HE HE :) I LOVE apple cider. And I AM nasty when cold. ;)

AND I am going to actually have a REAL, face-to-face chat with akashaelfwitch. Yep. She's been on my flist for months and I had no idea she lived in Chicago - until she made a post about moving out. So here's my advice to you, people: check the location of everyone on your flist, especially those you have a lot in common with. You just might find out they live five houses down the street.;) It's a small world, after all.

I'm so glad the two of you are getting a chance to get together before she moves. And I hope you and I - or the three of us, if Akasha's back in town too - can make time to meet over the holidays too. I've met some of the best friends I ever had through LJ and fic groups.

I grew up in Chicago, and most of my family and my husband's family still live in the area. We moved to Dallas in 1991, but we still get back up to Chicago at least once a year for the holidays, and sometimes over the summer too.

Aha. I hope to come to Chicago one day you see, that is why I got so interested when two of my good friends from lj live in the area or have a strong connection to it.

Yes! That would be great!!! You know, I hardly have any friends here in the States, I left everyone in Poland three years ago and now most of them don't even write to me anymore... And I met many wonderful people through the internet as well, but they're all so far away... I'm a lonely bunny sometimes... lol.

I know how you feel... but I have found that some of the friends I've made over the internet are closer to me than family now. I will definitely let you know once our plans for coming to Chicago in December are firmed up.
