A few things to get excited about:

1) Another employment agency interview tomorrow - got a call back after applying to an online ad on careerbuilder. Hopefully I'll find the place, since the driving directions seem a bit tricky... *bites lip*

2) I'm meeting with

namarie120 again this weekend.

akashaelfwitch is working at some anime convention right here in northwestern Chicago suburbs, and has enlisted the help of a few ladies from the Adult_Viggo Yahoo!Group -

namarie120 among them. So it's a good occasion to have a social gathering as well.:D

3) I have acquired two more movies to add to my precious DVD collection: the sweet French gay romance Just a Question of Love, and Breakfast on Pluto, which I LOVE to freaking pieces. It's right up there on my list of most intelligent, hilarious, touching and heart-warming comedies/dramas, next to Le fate ignoranti, You I Love and Almodovar's All About My Mother. Just... prrreciousss. *adores Cillian Murphy in drag and his invincible perfume spray* ;D

4) I have also added two more CD's to my Lacrimosa collection. One is just an EP, and the other one a compilation of B-sides from various singles, published in Korea (!!!); but they are both beautifully edited nonetheless, with some stunningly gorgeous photos in the booklets. The classy black-and-white goth artwork is very consistent throughout all Lacrimosa albums, so they make a lovely display on a fan's shelf. *swells from pride* And the music is always deeply satisfying - B-sides or not, lol. I even like the few strange industrial remixes included. Must be a die-hard worshipper by now.;) (judging by how I'm tapping my foot in rhythm with the wild animal sounds Tilo is making at this very moment, there is no turning back... LOL)

5) I have also realised that I got a bit confused about this other musical project Tilo has going on the side, so to speak. There are actually TWO albums issued already - one just a few days ago, the other one back in 2004. The project is called Snakeskin, and is a slightly different, industrialized version of the dark soundscapes created under the name of Lacrimosa. And there is also a different female vocalist accompanying Tilo on these two albums: a famous opera singer called Kerstin Doelle. There are samples available on the official website, and they blow my mind. I could actually download the whole thing from mp3sugar.com as well - but I want to have the CD's anyway. I need every piece of music signed by the name Tilo Wolff on my shelf - and, not surprisingly at all, the artwork is to die for. It's in a different style as well from the regular Lacrimosa albums, but no less gorgeous. Let me just provide a sample. I just might print those full-size and put them on my wall. And well... maybe I AM slowly going out of my mind, but there's more. Take a look at that:

Just... gahhh. *worships* I love it when an artistic vision is so complete, including sights and sounds that come perfectly together, creating a world of their own. And no one does that better than Tilo. He is the Rembrandt & Beethoven of the industrial era... lol. OK, yes, I am going to shut up and go to bed now. Apologies to anyone who clicked the link and thought it wasn't worth the trouble - but I honestly think that would be unlikely.;D
