HAPPY BIRTHDAY, surreysmum!!!
I believe a certain Elf just showed up to pay his respects:

I have no idea what you look like, but in the dream you had long, dark-blondish, slightly wavy hair and wore eyeglasses. You also had a little notebook filled with meaningful quotations from various sources, and you asked me to write something in it. I believe Surrey was with you, too (though he looks a lot like my sister's cat, Whiskey, so it could have been either one... lol). And it was deep winter - plenty of snow outside my windows, and you were wearing a thick, cozy, colorful sweater. That's all I remember. I just knew it was you. Maybe my subconscious was trying to remind me not to forget your birthday...;)

Your dream wasn't far off - dark instead of dark-blondish, but the hair's long and slightly wavy, eyeglasses present, and I'm actually the type who might actually ask you for your favourite quotation! I asked Surrey, but he vehemently denies going wandering into other people's dreams. :-)

But seriously, I once had a dream about another LJ friend whom I'd never seen - and then, a few days later, she posted a picture of herself in her journal, and she looked just like in my dream (down to the sunglasses she was wearing in the picture)!... *nods gravely* ;)
