I was tagged by taelyn_sass.
Here's how it works:
Each person starts with ten random facts/habits about themselves.
Those that are tagged need to write on their own LJ about their ten things and post these rules.
At the end of your entry, you need to choose ten people to get tagged and list their names.
1) I am never bored or depressed when I'm alone (unless someone takes my internet away... lol). On the other hand, I am frequently bored and/or uncomfortable in social settings.
2) I have been single for the past five years or so, and I am perfectly fine with that (seriously - if I felt miserable about it, I would be making whinging posts here all the time ;P).
3) I have also been almost constantly in love - ever since I was about 12 years old. Sometimes with more than one person at a time.:P And many of those people had no slightest clue about my feelings, let alone return them. Sometimes they weren't even aware of my existence - and, predictably enough, those were the happiest loves of all.:D
4) I am painfully slow and methodical about most things I do. I HATE feeling rushed. I need to take life at my own pace - otherwise I get terribly confused and miserable.
5) I intensely enjoy quiet, meaningful, one-on-one conversations. Big social gatherings and loud, obnoxious people often make me cringe.
6) I firmly believe that the sexiest human body part is the brain.:P
7) I may not be an outdoorsy person as such, but I have a strong fascination with nature, especially trees - I suspect I may have been an elf in a previous lifetime.;)
8) I often dream of getting lost in an unfamiliar building, city or landscape - just wandering aimlessly about, or looking for some particular place that I can't seem to find. It's been a recurring theme throughout my life. Sometimes those dreams are filled with a sense of curiosity and wonder - and sometimes they're very unsettling. Especially the ones with the missing door number (you know, there is 6 and then 8, while I'm looking for 7 etc.). Interpretations, anyone?...;)
9) I often find erotic dreams and/or fantasies more satisfying than 'real life' sex, which I don't really miss all that much. *shrug*
10) It is far too late for me to be still awake right now, but I had made up my mind that I would post tonight, and sometimes I can be stubborn as a mule.:D
