A little something I stole from nitw1t:
I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.
But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes office supplies."
I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.
In return, ask me anything you'd like to know about me and I'll give you an answer.
I wonder if someone will actually respond - apart from the two people who top my comment stats.:P

And "floating leaf" totally sums up my general attitude towards life. I don't really try to go in any particular direction... I just let it float, to wherever the current of events takes me. Some people might think it's a bad thing, but I have accepted that about me, and many times ended up pleasantly surprised by the outcome.;)
Also, my first choice for a username was some variation of the words "darkness", "night", "moon" or "dream" - but they all seemed already taken...:P
