RL crap

My car wouldn't start this morning. No idea why - it seemed perfectly fine last night. Had to take public transportation to work. Was an hour late. Have to get up earlier tomorrow so it doesn't happen again. Same thing Friday, of course. No clue how I'm going to get to my chiropractic appointment on Saturday morning. Probably won't make it.:/ Same goes for the regular weekend grocery shopping trip. The only two stores close enough for me to walk there are Aldi (cheap, but mostly crappy stuff - hardly anything I usually buy) and Jewel (expensive - haven't shopped there since I started my 'saving on groceries' plan). And 'close enough to walk' doesn't necessarily mean 'close enough to walk carrying fifteen heavy bags of food'. I'm so looking forward to pulling a shoulder muscle - especially since I won't be able to see my chiropractor.:[

Oh, and why yes, I have just recently spent $360 to fix the car, haven't I?

Life sucks.:(

Ach, I'm sorry to hear that, FL. Sometimes you'd swear that inanimate objects actually have a secret plot to make our lives miserable.

That guy in your icon doesn't look too impressed with the whole deal either! ;-)

Best wishes for a mysterious but timely spontaneous resuscitation of your car. Or, failing that, a more reasonable repair bill.

Ah, that's my official 'pissed off' icon.:) Angry Viggo = Sexy Viggo. From a very old and very, very bad (though amusing) horror movie called Prison. Which I'm sure you haven't seen, because you don't seem to be one of those rabid fans who would watch (or even purchase!... lol) any kind of pathetic crap whatsoever, just because Viggo happens to be in it.;P

Thanks. And guess what? You must have some sort of magical powers, because that's exactly what happened. Mysterious, but spontaneous resuscitation. Namely, tonight it started again, and seems perfectly fine. I wonder for how long. *remains extremely puzzled*

Looks like it was just having a bad day, or something. Inanimate objects... *headshake*
