I always tell myself the importance of boy!scouting-preparations afterwards somehow.

Oh, I know. The story of my life. I learn from own mistakes.:D

I think I´ve never managed to keep a computer alive for 7 years actually

Well... alive is a relative term. It's been reformatted twice so far, which pretty much equals death & resurrection in computer-speak... lol. Supposedly cats have nine lives - but it would appear that computers only have three.:P

I am always totally confused about all the new technology happening since last time I checked.

Tell me about it! Until fairly recently, I thought blackberry was a fruit.:D

Maybe you can look for a used computer? So many people change computer more frequently than toothbrush

Hmmm... the thing is, I am a little wary about getting a computer that someone has used before. What if there's something wrong with it? I mean, if it was perfectly fine, why would they be getting rid of it?... If you buy a new one, at least you have guaranteed free repairs for a certain length of time, you know?

But I have done some research and it looks like I can get a good one for a decent price. Now I just have to make up my mind about the brand... *chews thumb*
