Speaking of raspy-sounding tapes... back in Poland, I used to listen to Greek radio sometimes. I could only catch it really late at night, and the sound quality was still pretty bad (there were a few countries in between, after all) - but it was free, original Greek music, and it was breathtaking (I'm not sure if I told you this before or not, but Greek music does weird things to my insides). So I would sometimes stay awake till the wee hours of the morning, lying in my bed in the dark with the tape recorder ready at hand, and search for any Greek stations I could detect. This resulted in several mixed and very raspy tapes. I wish I'd brought them with me to the US... but one got lost somehow, and then I only had so much room for tapes in my suitcase, so I picked mostly the good quality stuff. I have no idea what became of the rest... *sniff*
See, I am probably the most sentimental person you will ever meet.;)
You are safe dear =)
That's good to know. *clings to you, your tape player and all the memories we can share or create together* <333
