What did you decide about the overtime?

Well, as of right now, there is a massive snowstorm/blizzard warning for the entire US Midwest for the next two days, so actually getting to work at all might prove a little tricky.:/ I don't think I want to be driving in an icestorm - so I'll have to get up earlier anyway, just to make it to the office on time by public transportation. I'm not sure I want to be outside at the bus stop either, but yeah. If you take a day off for whatever reason, you don't get paid for overtime (or you do, but at the regular rate, not the overtime rate). Unless they close the office for the day due to extreme weather conditions - which might or might not happen. I'm not holding my breath for it, though.:/

I've totally napped in the loo at work, so don't worry, you're not alone

Heh. I think I recall you mentioning it before. I'm so lucky no-one at my workplace actually keeps track of how long people stay away from their desks. Of course, some common sense rules apply - as in, don't disappear for 30 minutes right after you log in upon arrival etc. - but lunch breaks and all other breaks are taken at the sole discretion of each employee (for lunch, you have to clock out, but no-one's going to know how much time you spent in the bathroom unless you boast about it... lol).
