I've actually seen a handful of stories in this format, but it's somewhat unusual to find, probably because it really is difficult to read, regardless of font, particularly if it isn't indented as in a regular published work. If you are interested in adding more space, though, I've never tried it myself, but I've gotten the impression that one can use some search and replace feature in Word to add spaces, like where there's an , have it add another .
