Yes, your ideas about A/L and A/B are undeniably interesting, especially from a psychological point of view. I'm just not sure I have the skill to present such a take on their relationships in a convincing way.
Basically, I would read almost anything if it's well written, and I don't mind Legolas topping occasionally in a long-term realtionship with Aragorn, just to show that they're equals - but it simply doesn't get me half as hot as dominant Aragorn does (I wonder why... LOL). So naturally, when I write, I tend to stick to what really gets me going.:P
But if you wrote something based on the concepts you mentioned, I would definitely read it. I love an author who can surprise me, make me think or wonder or look from a different perspective... That's what the whole idea of sharing your fantasies with your fellow fans is about, isn't it?
