_cee: She never friended me back, so she won't see this, but I just have to say she is one of the best authors I have ever had the chance to read. Not just in the fandom - anywhere. Her psychological insight and the ability to create haunting images and unforgettable atmosphere is absolutely stunning. I don't know much about her as a person, but I am a happy member of her fan club, content to worship from a distance.;)
akashaelfwitch: The first LJ-friend I have met in person! We are both fervent A/L shippers, and we first met on the L_A_S Yahoo!Group, where she did the banners I received for my poem and drabble in a fic challenge. Then, some months later, it turned out that we both live in Chicago!! And we have seen both History of Violence and Elizabethtown together!!!
Akasha is a very sweet, warm-hearted person, and I love spending time in her company - even if I am far too tempted to steal her Aragorn purse! ;P
aliwantisanelf: Again, I am a happy fanclub member here.;) I don't know much about Al personally, but I adore her sense of humor and squee endlessly over her picture caption series. Yes, I know I'm bad at commenting... (*blushes*) but I read every single one, and they often make my day.:D
ancabell: Here is another amazing writer, who has moved me to tears countless times. One of the first people that seduced me into the V/O fandom.;) She doesn't post too often, but always has a warm spot in my heart...
chaosmanor: What can I say, again? A big name in the fandom, and someone I admire - in equal measure for her talent, courage, open-mindedness and dedication to the queer community. Oh, and she was the one who made me realize I could actually read mpreg.;) Or other unusual stuff - as long as it's well and honestly written. My respect! *bows*
crimsonsenya: My "evil doppelgaenger";P - or, to put it more mildly, identical double.:D Yes, we do look like twin sisters. Hard to say how far the similarities go beneath the surface - but some of her stunning fics hint at depths of soulful anguish that are almost too familiar... *sigh*
cynical_terror: The heart and soul of the Vigorli fandom for me. A fascinating, multitalented girl with a brilliant mind and a huge, loving heart. Life has not been easy for her lately, and I wish I could express how sorry I am... because if she does not deserve to be happy, then no one does. *big, warm hugs*

It was actually my first slash OTP, even if I have been neglecting it of late (all Viggo's fault... LOL). And I actually discovered LJ through the VC fandom... so gairid was one of the first people who made me feel at home here. And this shall never be forgotten...

marialayne: She hasn't updated in months, and might not again, but still her series "Dancing with the Daffodils" was one of the loveliest Vigorli fics ever...

(sorry for the senseless babble - it's getting late here, and I'm trying to make everyone feel unique... which they are - I am just slowly running out of creative ways to say it...;P)
romi: Here I should probably write a novel - and I would, if only I didn't have to go to bed in about 20 minutes.:/ Romi has been such a wonderful, supportive friend to me for so long, and we have so much in common, that I almost feel like we had known each other since childhood. Which is ridiculous, of course - but sometimes people just have this inexplicable connection. I love her writing too, but I love it more as an expression of a sensitivity (AND sensuality) very similar to my own than as writing in itself - if I am making any sense here. In other words, it feels too close to my perceptions somehow to be able to judge it on a purely literary level (not that I am equipped to be a judge of anybody's literary efforts anyway). I am simply overtaken by emotion - and the same thing happens when I try to form in my mind a clear, objective picture of Romi as a person. Whatever that means...
spank_an_elf: Another author whose volume and diversity overwhelms me. I owe her many happy hours of reading, in those lovely times when I first dived headlong into the fandom.;)
OK... that's definitely it for today. This thing took me three hours!!! I should have known... but then I am always like that. The concept of time defeats me.;) I only ever mean to read/write for a few moments... and then, mysteriously, the morning/afternoon/evening/night is over. *a profound sigh of exasperation, closely followed by a yawn* :D
