You have no idea how much your words mean to me. I am SO in love with this pairing, and I SO want to be good in writing it... and being praised by you feels like I have passed some sort of test and can now be rightfully accepted into the FPS fandom.;)
And that's where I want to stay. I don't think I could ever get the same feel for RPS - unless it were a VERY fantasy AU. I mean I love reading it, I just don't feel too comfortable writing it... (except for occasional PWP's ;P) Paradoxically, a touch of "otherworldliness" makes me feel far more grounded and sure-footed (is that a word?...) than actually trying to describe REAL contemporary people in RL circumstances. I guess that says a lot about me... but that's a whole another topic.;)
Anyway... I am exteremely happy that you think I have a "voice" for writing this pairing. *grins from ear to ear and levitates above the moon* :D
