Oh geez. Here I thought everyone knew I was too much of an asshole for one to concern themselves with my opinions :-P But seriously, you have nothing to worry about with your writing, and I hope you continue to write, especially this pairing *g* There's something about your style, the atmosphere you evoke, and the depth of sentiment in your fic that I have to struggle to define, can't really do it adequately, but I know that I'm recognizing something that I don't see very often in the pairing anymore, and which I definitely miss about A/L. *le sigh*
I know what you mean about the difference in feeling between RPS and FPS; I was just never able to get into RPS, however hard I tried, and heaven knows I would suck if I ever tried to write it! *lol* Whatever else it might say about us that we gravitate towards the 'otherworldliness' of FPS, I think it also takes a lovely sort of person to dream in that world ;)
