That could be it. Maybe that is why you're able to get that magical romanticism; now that you point it out, the way this reads, it does sound like it was written by someone who still has the wonder and enthusiasm of young love with this pairing. Your reverential treatment of the pairing comes across too. So I guess that's why I miss then, with the pairing not quite being to many people what it used to be.
