winter is not my season

It's COLD. I hate it when the temperature drops below the freezing point and just stays there. I feel like my brain is not functioning properly. I have no energy, no focus, and all I really, consciously want can be summed up as follows: 1) a huge, fluffy blanket to stay wrapped up in forever, 2) another hot drink, 3) more sleep. Fortunately I can still remain alert enough to read or watch movies - but writing, for example (even emails or Christmas cards), seems to require more concentration than I can muster.:( I feel like my evenings are spent staring blankly into the laptop screen and slowly DEFREEZING - to the point of complete, lethargic stupor. And then it's time to go to bed. Wow, how exciting.:( And, of course, having my period at the moment doesn't make this any better.:/

Anyway, not much to say right now - other than that I finally rented Almodovar's Bad Education and fell just a little in love with Gael Garcia Bernal in drag.;) I wouldn't mind looking so cute myself... LOL. The movie is heartbreaking, but OMG so brave and so good!... Almodovar is truly a cinematic genius. I adore him. Actually, I think I'm going to watch it at least once more before I return it. I keep renting gay movies lately, btw... not that it's going to surprise anyone here.:P (except the people working at my local Blockbuster's... LOL) Okay... looks like I've used up my writing inspiration for tonight. *sigh*
