Seems like it was a sudden, unexpected decision from the very top. Our manager looked just as shocked as we were. They probably cut down about 20% of their personnel in one go. I mean, everybody knew that business was slow - but they kept telling us it might pick up any minute, as it often had in the past...
Anyway, thanks for you support. With so many friends sending good thoughts my way, I just can't get depressed now, can I? *hugs*
