I must be an ultimate weirdo, since to most people I know living alone doesn't usually equal happy. And their idea of a fun weekend usually isn't staying at home and not having to see another human face unless they choose to.
You're not the only one. That sounds like heaven to me. My husband took a week-long trip to Amsterdam back in October, and with our daughter away at college I had an absolutely amazingly wonderful entire week alone. I refused to answer the phone, only answered the door when I knew I had ordered something to be delivered, slept till noon and stayed up til 4 a.m. every single day.
