life's simple pleasures ;)
Nov. 30th, 2005 09:35 amHello everyone. It's time for a meme.;) I've been tagged by
alliwantisanelf.:)))
And before I proceed, let me just say THANK YOU SO MUCH, and LOTS OF LOVE TO YOU, al - because I have never been specifically, personally tagged by anyone before.:P
Name 5 of life's simple pleasures that you like most, then pick 5 people to do the same. Try to be original and creative and not to use things that someone else has already used. Tag 5 people on your list.
Since I couldn't possibly squeeze it down to five, I picked seven, which is my lucky number - but of course that doesn't mean I'm forcing anyone to do the same.;)
So here goes - my favorite simple pleasures:
1) reading (mainly A/L and V/O slash of late - but other things occasionally as well ;P)
2) writing (letters, journals, fiction - whatever muses allow at the moment)
3) getting lost in music (for example, playing loudly my own favorite song compilations and singing along while I drive ;)
4) watching movies (almost any kind, as long as they're full of beauty, truth and/or intense emotions)
5) scrapbooking (i.e. printing out my fave manips or Viggo/Orlando pics and placing them in a photo album/ journal-type notebook for future extremely private drooling ;P)
6) sleeping in (AT LEAST until nine... LOL)
7) strong, hot, black tea with lemon and honey (especially this season, but I'll take it any time, really)
OK. That's it. I'm tagging
romi (I know you've been tagged already, babe, but I'm tagging you anyway :P),
niennas_dreams (I know you're busy now, but maybe some day later you'll come here and see this anyway...),
miladyhawke,
namarie120 and
ancabell.
In other news, my mood is inexplicably better today, even though I didn't get to see Sinead O'Connor (which is still bugging me, btw, but I've never been one for instant decisions, and the news came far too late - so I guess it wasn't meant to be, not this time anyway). Neither did I get to listen to Lymphomaniac's Greatest Hits (darn roommate won't go out in the evening like I want her to... LOL). But that will happen. And I've no doubt it'll cheer me up considerably when it does.;)
OK. Time to post this thing and get back to pretending to work.:P
