akashaelfwitch and namarie120. I feel so pampered, as well as humbled by namarie120's generosity. She brought us each a tray of home-baked cookies, as well as some Canadian magazines with Viggo in them and - ATTENTION, ATTENTION - a bootleg copy of A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE!!!!! I am still shell-shocked by this, as I was just bracing myself for the LOOONG wait till the DVD comes out. Just... WOW.:D
I am so happy to have met her. She is a wonderful person, with a huge, warm heart and a quick, open mind. And these particular qualities are at the very top of my requirement list, as far as friends are concerned.;) Besides, she drove all the way to the suburbs through rush-hour traffic to see me - and so didakashaelfwitch, even though she was sick and didn't feel her best. Thank you, ladies, once again! <33333
In other news, my sister is back from Europe and I'm going to see her tomorrow. We are going to spend Christmas together at our parents' house, sharing memories from the past year, watching movies (she has brought some she says I might like, and I have some she might wanna see as well) and hopefully avoiding any kind of religious or political discussion (we did that by email a couple of months ago, managing to upset each other and finally deciding to quit the topic altogether, in favor of the things we do have in common). So maybe Christmas at home won't be so bad after all.:)
But I guess I won't be online much, apart from maybe checking email, so let me just say Happy Holidays to everyone - whatever you're celebrating.;) I'll be back sometime next week.:)
