WHITES are motivated by PEACE, seek independence
and require kindness. They resist
confrontation at all costs. (Feeling good is
more important than being good.) They are
typically quiet by nature, they process
things very deeply and objectively, and they
are by far the best listeners of all the
colors. They respect people who are kind, but
recoil from perceived hostility or verbal
battle.
WHITES need their quiet independence and refuse to
be controlled by others. WHITES want to do
things their own way, in their own time. They
ask little of others, and resent others
demanding much of them. WHITES are much
stronger than people think because they dont
reveal their feelings. WHITES are kind,
non-discriminate, patient and can be
indecisive, timid, and silently stubborn.
When you deal with a WHITE, be kind, accept
(and support) their individuality, and look
for nonverbal clues to their feelings.
What Color Are You?

I don't actually LIKE white as a color (unless it refers to fresh snow), but the personality description is dead-on. Perfectly sums up my JustLeaveMeAloneThankYouVeryMuch attitude.
In other news, I was shocked witless yesterday by a call from an employment agency that seems to be an extension of CareerBuilder.com. I had planted my resume there a few days back, for whatever it might help - and one thing I never actually expected was a call and an appointment at an office located less than 10 miles from where I live. So now I am sort of worried that the nice girl who called me will find me a job too soon.;) I was just starting to enjoy my forced vacation...
I know, I know. Hard To Please is my middle name. But I just made ambitious plans to work out every morning and go for walks in the afternoons (unless it's raining/snowing, which is a highly likely occurence this season...), as well as catch up on my reading/movie watching in the evenings (the rest of the time being devoted to dutifully browsing the ads). It's not like I would ever complain of boredom. If I was lucky enough to have inherited a fortune or something, getting a job wouldn't even cross my mind... LOL. I would just travel, read and write. Oh, what a life that would be... *wistful sigh*
OK. Enough of that. *slaps herself and drags her lazy ass down from the clouds* Time to leave LJ-land and face reality. At least for a few hours... *wink*
