a random update

Just got back from another lovely evening with akashaelfwitch. We had dinner at Chili's, followed by some margaritas, then went to see Transamerica (which is a great movie OMG), and finally chatted some more over dessert at Barnes & Noble (yeah, we go to a bookstore for coffee and cake - how sophisticated does that make us?... LOL). And of course we gossipped about everyone else in the fandom.;P

In other news, I have become seriously addicted to the Candybar Doll Maker. I've always been the typical "girly girl", who loved to play with dolls, dressing them up - so this is the perfect thing for me.;) I made this improved doll-version of myself that I even figured out how to post on my user info page! LOL. Then, encouraged by the success, I made another one of my sister (cutie-pie that she is :P). And then two more, of my most recent exes.:D It's actually kind of embarrassing to admit how much fun I'm having with this... *sigh*

Sadly though, it's about as much "creative effort" as I can concentrate on. My writing inspiration seems to be gone for good - or at least for the moment. I long to get on with any of the fics I have started - but my heart's just not in it. Or maybe my heart is, but my head isn't. Or whatever. Must be the whole unemployment thing and stressing over my mother's nagging etc.etc.etc. (but that's not something I want to talk about... blargh :/) Anyway. Bedtime. *yawns and nods off*
