On the more mundane platform of existence, I still don't know the end date of my current employment. My supervisor came back today after a two-week absence, but she didn't say anything - except to remind me of the Summer Kick-Off Picnic tomorrow at the cafeteria (during regular lunch break, of course ;). And it seems there is still work to do... unless she means to bid me goodbye on Friday. Well... we'll see. I'm not sure for how much longer I could stand the tedium anyway... (I am an extremely patient person, but I do have my limits... LOL)

In other exciting news, I think I am in danger of becoming addicted to online shopping.;) Last Saturday, I spent FIVE HOURS browsing Amazon for various kinds of obscure, non-mainstream music that I happen to enjoy (from ethnic/world to black metal). I had almost forgotten how wonderful the Amazon CD store is - because they have samples! You don't actually have to buy 'a cat in a sack', as the saying goes.;) In most "real life" stores, you can only listen to the latest releases; and the weird stuff I am after is usually not even to be found at all...

So... that should settle the question of what I do during the weekends.;) Other than try desperately - and unsuccessfully - to catch up on flist, of course... *sigh* Oh, and I also watched another movie about a troubled young man who can't quite find the guts to admit that he's gay.;) Am I going through a phase or something?... LOL
