I can't believe myself sometimes. I totally missed out on the fact that my favorite band released a new album. Last year. In May, no less. And I had no slightest clue about it until today. WTF IS WRONG WITH ME???

Actually, I know what's wrong. I no longer browse music stores/websites etc. for fear of being tempted to spend money on non-essentials. *sigh* And I keep telling myself that my iTunes library is quite extensive and that should be perfectly enough for me. HOWEVER... this is LACRIMOSA we're talking about, for heaven's sake. I own most of their albums on CD's, and some of the tapes of their music I made for my car player had to be re-made TWICE so far, due to frequent use. That should tell you something, lol. Anyway... not counting random singles and 'the best of' collections, this is their first new album since 2005. And it took me almost a year to realize that it's out there. *massive headshake*

Well... better late than never, they say. Just downloaded the whole thing from http://www.soundike.com for $1.20 total.:) I am still very tempted to just order the CD from Amazon - but I couldn't stand waiting for it to arrive before I can listen to the music, so instant download seemed like a better idea for now.:) ( Read more... )
