Oh, this is so beautiful! I like the POV - telling the story from the mirror's "point of view". Just as the mirror is witnessing the proceedings, so is the reader. While reading, you feel like you're actually looking through that mirror into their bedchamber. And who wouldn't want that:)
And yes, a little happy ending never goes amiss either *sighs in bliss*!
