You're absolutely right. But my fear is that I won't find anything better in the same price range. I might come across a slightly nicer apartment, but the distance from work and the parking situation will likely be the same. There simply aren't cheap studio apartments in the suburbs...
Anyway... I am giving myself another month, until the middle of February. If nothing better comes along by then, I'll take the cheapest (or least crowded, parking-wise) place available within 15 miles of where I work. I really want to celebrate my birthday on new ground already.:)
