After 8 years of feeling ashamed and angry about what was happening in our country I feel like we will once again be able to hold our heads up high as we pull together to start cleaning up the mess Bush & Co have left behind.
When I started my own journal here, it was more of a fannish focus, too--you're so right when you say how stange it is how things happen, relationships evolve, minds open all within our niche in cyberspace. What a wonderful thing!
I'm proud of you for what you've managed to do--emigrate from another country and persevere here during what has arguably been one of the darker times in US history. What a nice thing to claim citizenship now as light is showing at the end of the tunnel.
And what a perfectly lovely compliment--thank you!
