Well, I was going to make a personal update, but all my news (or rather, non-news, lol) suddenly seemed so unbearably trivial and irrelevant that I just couldn't. Not that it ever stopped me before, but... somehow it did this time. *shrug*
Then I wanted to gush over some movies I had recently seen... but I thought, well, who really cares? I hardly ever get any responses to my movie posts (unless their LOTR- or Viggo-related). When I skim over my flist, it's all Batman and Star Trek and other Hollywood blockbusters I couldn't care less about if I tried. Who wants to read about an obscure Iranian or Brazilian film that took my breath away with its beauty?... *listens to the deafening silence over the airwaves, lol*
As for getting married - yes, I suppose there is a lot of pressure, but it doesn't apply to gay couples, obviously, so I never had to put up with it.:P Of course, my relatives who don't know anything about me seem very concerned that I find a husband soon - but since I don't keep in touch with them, their concerns don't bother me in the slightest. *evil smirk*
