I have a feeling LOTR fandom will be very much back in fashion once the Hobbit movies come out, so we just need to hang in there! :-) (Though what kind of fanfiction will emerge from that - I shudder at the thought! Bilbo/Gollum slash? *grin*)
Anyway, I don't know if you ever take a quick look at lotrips_finders, but despite its name it does deal in FPS as well, and lately there have been a couple of Legolas/Aragorn queries that have resulted in long-ish lists of archives and recs.
