Oh yes, those are my favorite.:) As for the feeble Legolas, I agree he can be annoying - but there are some authors who manage to avoid turning him into a wimp.;) Have you read anything by Peaceangel? Her A/L fics are hot and angsty and romantic and just totally delightful. She doesn't post on LJ, though. You'd have to look for her on some of those various LOTR fic archive sites...
