I am really relieved that you got yourself out of that relationship and that you view it with such insight when looking back. I haven´t been in a relationship like that myself, but I have several friends gone through similar situations and it´s SO HARD getting out of those - the dynamics behind are so complicated and so fucking complex and being part of that dynamic breaks anyone once involved. Psycological warfare does the horrifying thing of making the one exposed to it starting to see with the abuser´s eyes, it twists up the whole self-image. Thankyou for sharing this, it is such an important and many times HIDDEN problem.
