it's official :)
Nov. 5th, 2010 09:30 pmSomeone posted very interesting pics on
viggo_daily yesterday. Not surprising, perhaps, and yet... in a way, extremely so, because when have we actually seen Viggo The Ever Elusive "Private Man" engaging in Public Displays of Affection???... *gasp* ;) Not sure if The Kiss happened before or after they became aware of having been spotted by the paparazzi, but either way... it's a first.:) Someone said in the comments they have been "unofficially" together since Alatriste - which, again, doesn't surprise me; I just wonder what made them no longer care about keeping it "under wraps" (someone else said she recently got divorced, so that could be why... LOL). If you still don't know who I'm talking about, kindly follow the cut and see Undeniable Proof that the amazing onscreen chemistry required far less acting talent than either of them have.;)

I am really happy for them, believe it or not. I like her very much, and they are a joy to behold together. I am told there are some very beautiful love poems in Viggo's latest book, which is bilingual (English/Spanish). So now perhaps I can stop puzzling over who they might have been written for.:P
(Incidentally, none of this makes me any less of a Viggorli fan. I pride myself on the ability to distinguish "real life" from fantasy - or at least I try to keep that line relatively clear in my head, LOL. The fact that Orlando seems to love his wife now, and Viggo seems to love Ariadna, doesn't in any way undermine the possibility of there having been an actual "real life" Viggorli at some point; and it certainly doesn't take away the pleasure of fantasizing about it.:D)
Also, on a side note, I am continuously amazed at Viggo's fashion sense.;) Or rather the absolutely unapologetic, blatant lack thereof.:P That jacket he's wearing... isn't it the very same jacket he wore in A Perfect Murder, filmed in 1997?... Well... maybe not. But similar enough. Just take a look:

Ariadna's "style" in the above pics doesn't look that much better, though, so they must indeed be a perfect match.:D

Date: 2010-11-08 09:45 am (UTC)And I still love Viggorli and it still exists in my head. That's the point, I think. Some people seem to struggle with separating real life from fantasy.
And yes to his fashion sense. ;) I love how he just doesn't care. He's completely himself.

Date: 2010-11-09 01:37 am (UTC)I am rather inclined to think that Viggo & Orlando did have something going in New Zealand, but that they have both moved on. It happens. Love doesn't last forever - at least not in real life, imo (of course, there are probably a few lucky exceptions to this rule, but that's precisely what they are: exceptions, lol). That's why we have fanfic.:D
I love how he just doesn't care.
It's endearing... even though this particular shirt/jacket combination makes my eyes hurt.:P

It is endearing. Plus, as someone who has often cared too much about what people think, I admire Viggo. ;P

Date: 2010-11-09 01:45 am (UTC)A friend of mine has ordered Viggo's latest poetry book, and she says the poems sound happier than ever before. And I don't think he would have much reason to write happy poems if he were still pining after Orlando...:P
Fashion wise, you gotta love it!
Yeah. Just check your sense of style at the door.;P

Date: 2010-11-15 11:24 pm (UTC)It´s like as if he invented the whole mismatch-style just for its undeniable right of existence and somewhere in the middle of the mess - somehow - makes a statement without even knowing about it =D
However many girlfriends and wifeys.. Vigorli is carved in.. um.. delicate marble.

Date: 2010-11-16 01:53 am (UTC)"Without even knowing about it" is the key phrase here.:) The only statement he makes is that he doesn't give a rat's ass what anyone thinks about his sense of style... LOL.

Well, of course it is. *smirk*
