Today it would be just a big shame if I didn't say Happy Birthday to one very special and gorgeous man.;) No matter how old he is, I am sure he will always look stunning to me. In another forty-something years he will simply have white hair and look more or less like Aragorn in that heartbreaking scene where he is laid upon a bier with Arwen crying. The most beautiful man on earth - inside and out...

By the way, I checked the link to his astrological chart on Obsession. Very interesting.;) Especially the powerful conjunction of planets in the sign of Scorpio. Now, being born on October 20th means that you're still a Libra, of course, but I just knew there was really more of a Scorpio in him. Simply had to be. It's in his eyes...

And well... I did buy Sean Astin's book anyway, even if it's not signed by the hobbit himself.;) Mainly because I flipped through it at a local store and noticed that he says quite a lot about Viggo... so of course I cannot possibly miss it. And of course I immediately fished out his comments on the issue of Sam & Frodo possibly (or impossibly) being gay. Quite funny - and interesting too...

...Hello!Just passing through, going from friend list to friend list, looking for stories, anything that takes my attention, and I stayed to read your journal.I,too, discovered slash,RPS/FPS,and never looked back!I have found some lovely stories and sites, and fear life is too short for me to read everything! For such a dedicated V/O reader like yourself, can I recommend [livejournal.com profile] chaosmanor? Her memories hold her stories, and I loved the series "Thursday's Child",still with a little more to go,and the "Perchance" series, one of which episodes is friends-locked.Have youtried the Mirrormere site? The easiest way I find it is to put avia.silverbloom.net into Google.
My sister and myself saw ROTK 8 times at the cinema, and loved more each time.Am now waiting not very patiently for the extended edition.Still,on the official website, there is a short snippet of the EE,beginning with Aragorn challenging Sauron via the palantir. You'd probably need broadband to see it properly---I looked at it in my local library, since my dial-up is slow.Best wishes!

Hello and thank you so much!!! I will definitely check out your recommendations. My favorite slashy places right now include Aniron, Lure of the Ring (an archive of RPS/FPS stories by Tricia, who is a truly wonderful writer) and the vigorli community on LJ. But I am always open for new possibilities.;) By the way, have you read anything by cynical_terror? She has her own fanfiction website, and some of her stories are just unbelievably hot. My favorite series, called "Palpitations", is saved in my memories...
I only saw ROTK at the cinema once and regret that very much. With a movie like that, seeing it on a small TV or computer screen is just never the same... But I'm surely going to learn the EE by heart.;)
I have broadband, so I should be okay. Thank you once again - and pop by whenever you feel like it. LJ is a great thing, by the way - so easy to connect with people of similar interests all over the world.....
