Yes - I finally saw the EE. No thanks to my lovely sister, though. We met a few days ago, and I was mildly shocked to learn that:
a) they haven't bought it yet,
b) they have so many places to go and people to see that they will come to stay at our parents' house no sooner than Christmas Eve.

As for my roommate, she was told firmly not to buy it, since she's supposed to find it under the Christmas tree.;) And she said she could wait till then.

Well... I couldn't.;) So I went to the nearest Blockbuster's to rent it. And yes, it's a two day rental. It's 4 DVDs, roughly 2 hours each, and they rent it out for two days. Insane. So of course I didn't have time for the cast commentaries... But maybe that's just as well, for now. It might have been too much...

As it is, I am totally overwhelmed and don't think I should really say anything until I see it all again. Well, maybe just one thing: all the extended Aragorn/Eowyn scenes made me cry (and Eowyn/Faramir too, for some reason). And the Aragorn/Legolas comfort moment after the Paths of the Dead just stopped my heart. And the drinking game was absolutely priceless. The only thing missing was Aragorn sweeping the deliciously inebriated elf off his wobbly feet and whisking him away to some quiet corner for a snog.;) But like I said before - that might have been too much.....

Ha! of course it happens in MY head as well... but if someone would write a little ficlet based on the idea, it would make me VERRY VERRY happy... *bats eyelashes*
I am shameless, I know. You already have so many stories to continue. But don't you just LOVE describing what happens in your head? I know you do... *winks*

I can offer you some kissing and snuggling, but don't know if you read the Sins? *hugs you*

Of courrrse I read the Sins. It's one of the most tantalizing fics ever. The chapter where Aragorn was "taking a look at Legolas' wounds" (and really doing something else entirely;P) had me nearly melt into my chair. And I'm DYING for more...
So I'm quite insatiable, as you can see, when it comes to A/L action. I would probably write A/L fics myself, but I haven't read Tolkien yet (shame, shame, I know), and I believe you shouldn't write FPS until you really know the characters you're talking about...;)

Oh! Thank you! Very much even *blushes*

I just jumped into it FPS basically and learned more about the Tolkien world as I went along (man+elf=the hots needed no previous Tolkien knowledge *LOL*), well, I still haven't read all of the books. [profile] crimsonsenya spoke about the "forbidden pool" once and Romi is like, "what forbidden pool! The one in [livejournal.com profile] lassegalen's manips?" *g*

...well there is no drunk elf and no snog but as close as A/L have come to it at least in my fic lj now. *grins*
...see you later!
