floatingleafIt's hard to believe, but a full year has passed since I lost my head, heart and some other body parts to the fandom.;) In fact, it was on April 24th, 2004 exactly that I happened to go and see "Hidalgo", which is when it all really started. The Viggo-madness, I mean.;) So I figured some kind of celebratory post was in order.:P
It has been a year of so many thrilling discoveries... First of all, Viggo himself and the sweeping range of his artistic accomplishments (as well as many aspects of his personal charm, so to speak :)). Then, of course, all the LOTR craziness, which surpassed my wildest expectations. All the fanfiction in its unbelievably wild variety. And, last but not least, some amazingly creative people who are not ashamed to be themselves, to plunge headlong into the madness and enjoy it.:D I keep discovering such people almost every day, and I don't think it's even possible to mention everyone who deserves it... but let me just say that I no longer imagine a world without![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
romika, niennas_dreams, ancabell, cynical_terror or razzleslash. You guys make my life richer in so many ways... regardless of whether you're even aware of it. Speaking of which, I highly doubt whether Viggo himself, for example, has the slightest idea of his widespread influence upon people's minds.....
