finally got my zine
Sep. 9th, 2005 09:12 pmOMG... I received my Just Words fanzine today!!! *takes a deep breath* SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*takes a deep breath again*
The timing couldn't have been better. First of all, I was already back home from work and got it delivered straight into my own hands, without having to go to the post office. Second of all, my roommate WASN'T home, so I avoided the inevitable exchange of curious questions and elusive answers.;) Third of all, it's Friday, so I can spend all of tomorrow curled up in bed reading if I like.:P (especially that I just got my period, which means I might spend all of tomorrow curled up in bed anyway)
But the best thing of all is the fact that I actually answered the doorbell, which I never do, unless I expect someone to visit at a certain time. I am weird, I know, but I value my privacy to the point of not opening the door to strangers - and none of my friends live close enough to ever pop by unannounced. Anyway, in 9 instances out of 10, whoever rings the doorbell wants to see my roommate, who is the owner of the apartment, and not me - so I may just as well pretend I'm not here.:P This time, however, I had a distinct feeling that I should go and let the person in. Probably because I've been expecting the zine all week... lol. Anyway, as soon as I thought that might be it, there was the UPS guy with a small package in his hands, asking for me. I nearly hugged him, lol. Then, as soon as he was gone, I ran into my room and started bouncing like a teenager... until I realized that the UPS truck was parked right outside my window, which happens to be on the first floor.:))) *blush* I wonder if the guy saw me bouncing... That would certainly make him wonder what was in the package, wouldn't it? :D
On a more somber note... does anyone know what happened to
niennas_dreams? She's been awfully quiet lately and I'm beginning to wonder if she's OK...

Date: 2005-09-11 07:08 pm (UTC)Since I don't have a proper TV or cable and wouldn't even know which channel to watch (I have a serious anti-commercial phobia and generally avoid such useless things as TV sets, lol), I have missed any Viggo-related festival stuff. I can only hope there will be some online clips to download later... (yes, internet is my only source of information about the world outside of my bedroom, lol)
Hugs,
