This thing was recently posted by two people on my flist: [livejournal.com profile] namarie120 and [livejournal.com profile] gairid.

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want, either good or bad.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

And yes, I am posting at work again. That's the reason for the early hour - my office computer displays California time or something like that, so it's not in fact THAT early where I am right now.:) But if I were home, I would probably still be in bed anyway.:P

What stands out the most is our discussions before you went to New Orleans, when I found out you were going in the summer, and I was thinking of how hot it is down there--then you go and the hurricane of the century hits! I was so worried about you!

Then there are your lovely L/A fics, perfect little bubbles of bliss. :)

You read my fics???!!! OMG, yay!!! And you like them??? That really makes me happy. *beams*

And your icon reminds me your restaurant recommendations... I don't think we actually found Rita's, but we went to Muriel's. On my friend's brithday. It was just... WOW. An utterly delicious culinary experience.:) Probably the most expensive dinner I ever had too, but worth every penny... lol. Luckily I don't eat like that more often, or I would grow sideways beyond repair.;D

I remember too that you had posted about how excited you were about going to New Orleans, and when Katrina hit I was worrying that you'd gotten caught in it. I was so relieved when you posted your story of having to take a cab to Baton Rouge to get the last flight out before it hit!
