Well, yeah. I sort of knew that already.;)

And, I am having a little dilemma at the moment: should I go home tomorrow, to spend New Year's Eve with my parents, sister and brother-in-law, or should I meet up in a nearby bar with a very good friend + two sweet gay guys? The first option means being able to drink without worrying about having to drive afterwards, but then being woken up at 6-7 a.m. on New Year's Day by my mom banging pots ans pans in the kitchen... while the second option means being able to leave whenever I want and then sleep till noon, but probably not enjoying the noise/bad music/cigarette smoke etc. (I haven't been to a bar in ages, and it's just no longer my scene, somehow)

Any helpful suggestions, anyone? :P

Hey! What about the anti-smoke-law, is it not on in your town? If it is, you don't have to worry about the smoke. I know in LA and Manhattan, you can't smoke in the bars.

The friends option sounds lovely, if the bar isn't too crowded, then you are indeed meeting your friends, and not spending time on the 'scene', if you know what I mean?

But family is great too! What good advice I give :D

I honestly don't know about anti-smoke law; last time I partied in bars, nothing like that was in existence - which probably only proves how very long ago that was... LOL.

And obviously, today the bar will be very crowded and probably too loud to talk anyway - so I decided I'd rather watch some movies with my sister at home. Am I getting old or what? :D

Anyway, I hope you're having a blast at the moment - if you're still partying, that is (it's almost morning in your time zone ;).
