I may be mostly ignored here in the LJ world, but Someone out there, way back across the Great Water, is thinking about me. Apparently more often - or more intensely - than I thought she might... after all this time. I thought I was the only one who worshipped at the Altars of Memory. Or maybe I am just inherently incapable of believing that I might actually mean that much to someone who means that much to me...

I'm so glad about this :)

I have a feeling I might know who you are talking about (modesty, eh?!), but even if I'm wrong (God forbid *g*), what matters is that the feelings you maybe thought had been killed by physical distance, are actually still alive, and keep going that special link between you and this person.

Unfortunately, distance is not going to help in this, but in a sweet, melancholic kind of way, the important thing is that you both have that warmth inside, and that you're a precious part of each other.

I like your "modesty".:P But I would not presume to regard myself as such an insistent part of your thoughts. We barely know each other... *bats eyelashes coyly* ;D

And just like you said, that special emotional link is a bittersweet thing indeed... *sigh*
