First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to

ancabell!!! It's probably belated by now, and you won't see this post anyway... but I do miss you, and fervently hope you are all right. *crosses fingers*

Rather unsurprisingly, for a number of reasons, I am kinda down today. It's been raining most of the time, and it looks like the summer is definitely over... and the atmosphere at work is just weird - or maybe I'm paranoid again. I just feel like I don't belong there anymore, even if people are nice to me... I keep expecting tension/criticism any moment, and it's like that "self-fulfilling prophecy" from the personality quiz I did during the weekend. *sigh* And on top of it all, I do realize what day it is, and can't help thinking of all the useless, unnecessary aggression that seems to escalate all around the world...

So, here's a very fitting quote from my favorite songwriter (English version, of course, and the translation seems to need some work, but my rudimentary German is far too weak to try and correct it in keeping with the original, so I'll leave it as it is):
