floatingleaf: (perfect murder 2)

Another day. Another agency. Next door (or rather, next office building) to my late job, actually. So they knew about the massive lay-off I fell prey to (which isn't over yet, btw - or so I hear). And the nice, considerate lady who interviewed me told me she thought I was marketable.;) So I'm feeling a little better now.:) (yeah, I'm one of those people who need constant reassurance)

And now for something completely different. It's going to sound very selfish, but I can't help myself... I've got a little request. My birthday is approaching, and I know exactly what I want. I want a copy of Viggo's new book, Linger. And no, I'm not asking anyone to buy it for me. I'm not THAT cheeky... lol. The problem is I cannot order from Perceval Press, because I don't have a credit card. And I don't think the book is available anywhere else (I have already checked amazon.com). So if anyone (from USA, preferably) would be kind enough to place the order on my behalf, I would love them forever.:) Just say the word, and I shall mail you a check - and don't even get started until you receive it. Okay??? *bats eyelashes*

That's it for now. Not much going on, otherwise. I am finally catching up on some reading (by which I mean slash, and more slash, and then some... other stuff, occasionally ;), as well as filling the gaps in my cinematic education (for example, I have recently embarked upon a quest to see every possible movie with Gael Garcia Bernal ;). As for the ambitious plans to work out every day... well, they're not going quite that well.:/ Yes, I'm a self-indulgent, lazy ass. And a fat one too.:( It positively hurts to think I wore size 2 merely three years ago...

Hey! Somehow I knew it would be you.;) HUGE thanks and endless hugs and smoochies... lol.

And btw, do you have a Paypal account? Because I do, and it would be sooo much simpler this way than sending a check through snail mail... right?

Drop me a line.:) *hugs again*

I do have a paypal accout, though I've only used it to send money, never to get it. So how does that work? And I'll still need your address, since I'll just order the book shipped directly to you.
