Finally got The Indian Runner. Watched it yesterday and died, just like I knew I would. This is exactly what I have been hoping and longing for: a fully developed, complex character, frightening and endearing at the same time, played with enough brilliance to convince me that Viggo indeed is an acting genius. Which I kind of suspected, but didn't know for sure. And now I do. Plus, he is absolutely beautiful... which I did know for sure, but still could never have enough of proving this simple fact.:) He is so young in that movie... younger than I have ever seen him before - which doesn't necessarily mean that he looks better than in later ones, because he definitely is the hottest forty-something that ever walked this planet - but just different, and that gives his beauty another dimension...

Well, I guess I'm babbling right now. So much for intelligent comments on the quality of the movie (later maybe, once I've managed to overcome the initial impact;)). By the way, I have also seen 28 Days, which was funny, even touching at times... but there are only little bits and pieces of Viggo here and there, so I'm not buying that one. Besides, all the best screencaps are already available online, so I don't need to make my own collection...

As for A Walk on the Moon, I bought it, of course, as it's a cult movie for me already.:) The blouse man absolutely rocks, and I just LOVE Viggo looking so blond and so very Scandinavian... Not that I don't like him with dark hair - actually, I always considered dark-haired people, regardless of gender, to be more "my type" - still, I seem to have this incurable weakness for naturally blond hair (as much as I hate it bleached, by the way) and VERY blue eyes... It's a recurring motif in the long history of my hopeless crushes. Which sort of explains why the blouse man made somehow a greater impression than Aragorn. Or, to put it more correctly, why I didn't fall head over heels after seeing LOTR for the first time. Which is something I don't understand anyway... but I guess I'm babbling again. Can't help it, really. Too many stunning images in my memory.:) Regardless of age, hair length, color and everything else, some of his boyish smiles just reduce me to incoherence...
