(no subject)

I decided to switch to a paid LJ account. I would have done it long ago if I had a credit card - I simply didn't realize that it was possible to pay by any other means. I'm kinda getting used to having trouble with all sorts of online services because of this, which is what's bugging me most about life in this country for the moment - you can hardly do anything without a credit card, and yet they won't give you one if you don't have a credit history, even though making said credit history isn't easy at all without having a credit card in the first place. So I just keep running in circles. I do use my father's credit card sometimes (with his permission, of course), mainly for ordering stuff from Amazon etc. - but I don't want to do that too often... just doesn't feel comfortable (even if he never asks for a detailed report;). Anyway - good to see LiveJournal isn't as bitchy about that as some other places. Sent them my check today.

Of course I still don't know how to use all the special features, but I'm willing to learn.;) Especially after I finally figured out how to upload user pictures and decided that three definitely isn't enough...:))
