Jan. 3rd, 2005 06:39 pmI survived the holiday season, LOL. Spent more time at my parents' house than I ever wanted to, but finally I'm back on my own again...
And no, there was no family watching of the ROTK EE. Nobody bought it, somehow. My father cluelessly gave my sister the "regular" one for Christmas, but there really was no point in seeing that again after the EE had been released... so we didn't. I forced Hidalgo on my parents instead.;) (and they were delighted, yay! and completely clueless about my motives too...:P) I also made my sister watch Indian Runner (and she made me watch Blade Runner - as an act of vile revenge, I suppose ;))). Apart from those, we saw The Pianist (I hadn't seen it before and was deeply moved, as well as captivated by Adrien Brody - not in a het way, mind you, just in a fag-hag way ;P) and Shrek 2. So there was quite a variety of movie experience, I have to admit.;)
I also had a funny dream sometime last week. It looked like a typically noisy and glittery New Year's Eve party, and there was a group of girls swirling on the dance floor in festive clothes. And among them, right in the middle, pranced a certain Orlando Bloom in a sequined dress. Yes, a dress - sleeveless and short, I might add. His curls were perfectly groomed and shining, he grinned happily and looked totally gorgeous. Like... Orlando at a gay bar.;) And it didn't even occur to me there was anything funny about it until I woke up...
There was a Viggo dream as well, some other night. Quite different in nature, though.;) To put it shortly, he was in his full Aragorn costume, and I was sitting in his lap. I won't go into any detail for fear of being called a Mary Sue or something, but there was definitely very tangible chemistry going on.;)
So... that about sums up the way I perceive these two. Viggo is the scruffy ranger who makes me really confused about my sexuality (in case anybody wonders what that can possibly mean, I used to think I was gay), and Orlando is just a pretty girl (no offense meant whatsoever - I ADORE him).
