Allright. So I defeated the dustbunnies today (there were ridiculous amounts of them all over the place, but now they're GONE). And then I made food. And then I did the final segment of Anat Baniel's "Healthy Necks & Shoulders" exercise program (which I've been going through, for the second or third time, for the past two weeks). (By the way, those exercises are awesome, and if you haven't heard of Anat Baniel, do yourself a favor and check her out; her DVD's are pricey, but worth every penny and then some, especially if you have any back or neck pain, or feel older then you think you should. She is a powerful healer, in the widest sense of the word.) Oh, and I also ordered some Christmas gifts online. In short, I can't remember the last time I felt so productive.;D

AND I uploaded some icons I had found last night. See, I realized I didn't have any icons from Interview with the Vampire, and suddenly it seemed imperative that I find some. Actually, I had been thinking of watching this old Viggo movie that I just got from Netflix... but the icon search was very time-consuming, so I guess the movie has to wait till next weekend. Yes, you got that right - I put Viggo aside in favor of Brad Pitt.;P It's pure blasphemy, I realize, and I think I'm hearing distant thunder in the dark recesses of my troubled mind - but that is the harsh truth. I was too amused by various funny captions... *points discretely to the top of the post*

Speaking of captions - if I knew how to make icons myself, I would add the following text to this one:

"Not tonight, Lestat. I have a migraine."

That is all.

Those exercises - or rather, as she calls them, "movement lessons" - are truly rejuvenating (they teach your body to move the way young children move, before they form bad and limiting habits). But yes, consistency is the thing. You need to go through the whole program within 2-3 weeks at the most to get good results - and then, if you don't want your body to "forget" what it has learned and go back to the old habits, you need to do it again a few weeks later, and then again... you get the picture. I usually feel great for some weeks after I've completed the program - then gradually the old tensions and aches start coming back. I suppose after a certain number of repetitions the effects would be more long-lasting - but the bad habits of movement and posture were formed over many years, so it stands to reason that they should be tough to get rid of...
