The trailer for Good is out. Holy rockets. I WANT that movie, and I want it BAD. I can tell it's gonna be one of the top jewels in my Viggo collection.:D Just the kind of heartrending drama that hits all my sniffy buttons.;) Not to mention the fact that Viggo looks unbelievably hot in it, considering both his age and the stereotypically unattractive 'geeky professor' image. I have no idea how he manages to do it every time. I just know that a good percentage of his movie looks wouldn't work for me on anyone else (and yes, I'm talking chiefly about Master Chief here; I am also pretty sure he will be beautiful to me in The Road, where he's supposed to look like a seriously underfed hobo). It must be love.;D

In other news, I can't believe the extent of my cooking obsession of late. I currently own FIVE cookbooks. And to think I always believed that anyone who enjoyed cooking tended to be on the heavy side. Which was probably one of the reasons I never got into it before. And, incidentally, that's a good thing, because it means I never learned to cook from my mom or grandma - ergo, never developed the habit of adding tons of sugar, flour, butter and/or sour cream to pretty much everything I make. Which, judging by my mother's cooking, is a habit extremely hard to ditch.:P But my first cookbook was a WeightWatchers cookbook, and it set the standard I now follow when looking for other recipes to try out. So, in my case, the stereotype of 'fat cook' is completely shattered, because it's precisely the cooking that helped me ditch the extra pounds (which would, no doubt, have kept multiplying if I had kept eating food from a box). It also gave me a variety of flavors I never thought possible - as well as taught me that a satisfying meal doesn't have to feel like it's growing even bigger in your stomach than it looked on the plate, lol (take that, mother!:P). Or that enjoying several 'little snacks' during the day is not a sign of weakness (as opposed to stuffing yourself silly once or twice a day and then vegging out in front of the TV, because you're too full to move). I still eat 5-7 times a day, btw - whenever I get hungry - and somehow it doesn't make me any bigger (while waiting till I'm starving and then tucking in with warp speed probably would). Possibly because I know WHAT to eat, and in what amounts.:D So, it turns out my mom did me a great favor by repeatedly telling me that I was useless in the kitchen, however amusing it now sounds. Life is full of surprises, after all.

How great to hear from you. I saw Eastern Promises only yesterday! Well, almost all of it. I still have the ending left. First I found Viggo to be a bit too stereotypical, but after only a few scenes I completely fell in love with it. He is very good in this film. I am waiting to find time to see the ending.

I enjoy to hear about your cooking. It gets me in a good mood. I want to mail you about something, I'll do that right away.

Hello! Great to hear from you too. I was just wondering how you were doing.:)

I'm glad you finally found the time to see EP. Better late than never, they say.;) I don't think I could make myself stop watching that movie before the ending... but then I suppose you had no choice.

How is Baby E, btw? Walking by herself by now?...:)

I will respond to your email later today, hopefully. *hugs*
