I know it's not my fault that they're laying me off... but if I wasn't so rabidly antisocial and could actually handle any type of 'client-facing' position, I would be safe, because those positions are not being cut. It's only the 'data maintenance' (or, as I call it, 'computer-facing') staff that can be easily disposed of - and, ironically enough, that's about the only kind of work I feel comfortable with. *heavy sigh*
