I spent about 90 minutes in traffic on my way back from work today, because the lights at a major intersection were out, which resulted in a massive traffic jam stretching for miles. Then I spent another 90 minutes cooking. I've only just had my dinner, and it's almost 11 p.m. In fact, I should be getting ready for bed right now - but I need to wind down first with a cup of herbal tea. I am TIRED of living like this. Work has been crazy too, what with being trained, preparing to train others (the new employees from India) and doing all sorts of stupid extra projects for the boss on top of the regular daily grind. I just seriously need a break. And by that, I do not mean a two-day weekend that will be over in a blink. *sigh*

soemtimes i find myself thinking about 100 years ago (or so?) when the standard work week in this country was six days, and i think i'd never have survived. i hated five as it was (in my last 'normal' job). now i work most every day, but from home, bits and pieces.

*hugs big and keeps company*

I think they still had six working days back in Poland when I was a kid. I don't even want to imagine having to cope with that.:P

I'd LOVE to work from home... as long as it didn't involve any kind of direct customer service, obviously. I'm such a people person, I'd much rather sweep the streets than talk to strangers. *headshake*

*hugs back and enjoys the company* ;)
